Today, Silverstreet announced it has appointed the current Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Simon Landsheer to President and Chief Executive Officer to further solidify and strengthen its growth strategy moving forward.
Mr. Landsheer, who has been with Silverstreet since the end of 2006, has been responsible for the companies immense growth and expansion from its initial foundation in the Netherlands throughout Europe and subsequently into Asia, Africa and Australia establishing Silverstreet as one of the leading SMS aggregators in the global mobile industry in the process.
Silverstreet’s founder and CEO to date Mr. Maikel Lambregts will take the position of Chairman of the Board from today onwards.
Mr. Landsheer’s main focus will be to ensure continued growth for Silverstreet as well as the repositioning of the company beyond its position of a SMS aggregator and more so towards that of an international telecom group. This will be accomplished by organic growth as well as an aggressive approach to acquiring and investing in businesses withinin it’s main verticals and additional lines to further diversify the business.
