SCOS Software bv te Hoofddorp organiseert gedurende 4 tot en met 8 April 2011 een Core Wireshark Network Analyst training. Wireshark is onbetwist de populairste netwerk analyse tool met meer dan 500.000 downloads per maand (bron:

De training welke SCOS Software als Wireshark Authorized Training Center samen met de Wireshark University van Laura Chappel organiseert, zal worden gegeven door Betty Dubois, een Certified Trainer van de Wireshark University. In deze Core Training zal worden ingegaan op het efficiënt gebruiken van Wireshark en de packet-level TCP/IP communicatie door het bestuderen van zowel het correct als verkeerd gedragen van netwerken. Een groot gedeelte van de training zal diepgaand worden ingegaan op de mogelijkheden van Wireshark. Veder zal het beoordelen van zowel normaal als abnormale communicatie patronen van de TCP/IP toepassing en de meest gangbare applicaties worden bestudeerd, zoals DHCP, DNS,
FTP, Telnet,
HTTP, POP en SMTP. De nadruk gedurende de training zal sterk liggen op hands-on lab oefeningen en case studies uit de praktijk. Hiermee wordt kennis opgedaan welke direct na de training gebruikt kan worden.
