Nieuwegein, 18 september 2002- Precise Software Solutions (Nasdaq: PRSE) toonaangevend in performance management van IT infrastructuren, kondigt aan dat Intel Corporation (Nasdaq: INTC) Precise/Indepth™ for J2EE in licentie heeft genomen en dit inzet in een Intel software development product voor op Java gebaseerde Enterprise Web applicaties. Deze overeenkomst betreft een OEM relatie.
Dit nieuwe product, ‘Intel VTune Enterprise Analyzer for Web Applications’ is door Intel gepresenteerd op het Intel Developer Forum van 9 tot 12 September jongstleden te San Jose. Door de inzet van de technologie van Precise kunnen gebruikers van Intel Vtune snel inzicht verkrijgen in de performance gegevens van Java applicaties, waardoor ze snel eventuele applicatie problemen kunnen verhelpen.
De Vtune Enterprise Analyzer for Web Applications helpt J2EE developers en QA teams de bottlenecks in gedistribueerde Web applicaties te vinden. Tevens geeft het aan welke hardware en software eisen de applicatie heeft. Performance informatie wordt hoofdzakelijk verkregen door de Precise J2EE collection technologie. Deze verzameling vindt plaats onder een minimale systeembelasting voor zowel servers als de applicatie. De Vtune Enterprise Analyzer geeft een zeer uitgebreid inzicht in de gebruiksbelasting van de Web infrastructuur tijdens de verwerking van aanvragen en de uitvoering van diensten.
