Amersfoort, 26 januari 2011 – Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), marktleider in opensourceoplossingen, kondigt vandaag aan dat de inschrijving voor de Red Hat Summit en JBoss World 2011 is geopend. Voor het zevende jaar brengt Red Hat klanten, partners, visionairs, techneuten en aanhangers van opensourcesoftware samen om meer te leren over de laatste ontwikkelingen van open source. Het event vindt plaats van 3 tot en met 6 mei in het
Seaport World Trade Center in Boston.
De sessies die worden gegeven, beslaan een breed scala aan onderwerpen: van overzichten en roadmaps van Red Hat’s aanbod op het gebied van cloud, virtualisatie, platform en middleware tot sessies die zich meer richten op ontwikkelaars. Het event blijft groeien. Zo zijn er weer meer sessies, klantenpanels, hands-on labs, netwerkmogelijkheden, interactieve discussies en partner displays.
Generaal H. Hugh Shelton, voorzitter van Red Hat's raad van bestuur en oud-voorzitter van de Joint Chiefs of Staff zal het event openen. Red Hat executives waaronder Jim Whitehurst, president en CEO; Paul Cormier, executive vice president en president, Products & Technologies; en Brian Stevens, CTO en vice president, Worldwide Engineering verzorgen keynotes. Jeremy Gutsche, schrijver van Exploiting Chaos: 150 Ways to Spark Innovation During Times of Change en oprichter van TrendHunter.com, een van de top trend-spotting websites ter wereld die trends op het gebied van marketing, design, technologie identificeert, zal zijn visie geven.
