OneStat Basic was already tested as best free hit counter on the web and to keep this leading positon OneStat has introduced OneStat Free. A total new concept for a free hit counter. Webmasters can decide if they want password protected stats or not. One of the new features is that subscribers can decide to receive their web analytics reports by email.

Sign-ups for OneStat's free hit counter Basic have significantly increased since competitor NedStat sold its free Basic service to Adpepper's Webstats4u. Several web sites reported that Adpepper's Webstats4u is distributing annoying pop-up advertisements in the javascript which the webmasters have to implement in the HTML page to track visitors of their web site. OneStat does not distribute these pop-ups and because of this in combination with the additional unique features more and more webmasters sign-up for the free hit counters of OneStat.
