Amsterdam, July 19, 2005 - Since October 2004, Munich-based Fujitsu Deutschland GmbH is conducting storage product business in France and Benelux. Responsible for customer relations in both regions is Senior Account Sales Manager, Dirk Devogelaere, who had joined Fujitsu in early 2004 as OEM Sales Key Account Manager for storage products in Benelux, France, Germany, and Switzerland.
His new assignment involves the reconstruction of Fujitsu's storage business in Benelux and France, including hard disk drive product accounts, magneto-optical (MO) drives, and KVM systems. "My target is to set up a structured channel business in the first year with a market share to reach between five and ten percent. I'm very pleased to contribute to the worldwide success of Fujitsu in that important region," explains the 39-year old IT sales expert.
Dirk Devogelaere's extensive background in Pan-European operations have richly contributed to his multi-lingual command, being fluent in French, Dutch, Flemish, English, German, and Italian. Devogelaere is backed by 15 years of hard- and software sales experience, including as Director Sales Europe of software sales at Markement; as Product Manager at the Actebis network division; as Distribution Account Manager at Xircom Deutschland, responsible for the IT wholesale dealers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for four years; and at Roxio, in charge of product integration at hardware manufacturers as well as the acquisition of new OEM partners in Europe and risk management accounts.
