LANDesk Software Extends Existing Lenovo Relationship into New Lenovo Innovation Center
Vendors join to provide catalyst for customer collaboration on new computing solutions-
May 25, 2005 - LANDesk Software, a leading provider of integrated device configuration and security management solutions, today announced the company has joined with Lenovo in support of a new Innovation Center that will enable customers to collaborate with solution providers and independent software vendors on innovative computing solutions that address their specific IT challenges.
The Innovation Center facility will be located near Lenovo's principal operations in Research Triangle Park N.C. Lenovo, IBM, LANDesk and the other collaboration partners will jointly bring customers in to the facility for executive briefings, to help craft roadmaps, and to participate in technology incubation.
This announcement continues and expands the relationship LANDesk forged with Lenovo in September, 2003 in which LANDesk licensed the LANDeskÒ Management Suite to Lenovo to serve as the foundation of the Lenovo Sure Eyes system management tool.
