At the Microsoft IT Forum 2004 , Brooktrout will display its TruFax® intelligent fax boards, which achieved Designed for Windows Server 2003 logo certification and have been validated by Microsoft for use with its Windows Server 2003. This appealing combination enables business users to set up a reliable LAN Fax Server so multiple users can confidentially and securely send and receive faxes directly on their desktops, eliminating the costs, complications and lost time associated with walk-up, stand-alone fax machines. Brooktrout will also display its award winning TR1034™ intelligent fax boards, the latest in its line of intelligent fax products.
Brooktrout’s award-winning fax products are used in conjunction with software from many leading business process automation and fax ISVs including: Captaris stand D19 – D20, FaxCore stand A14 and Fenestrae stand D11,
Brooktrout will also display its award-winning TR1000™ voice and speech platform, specifically designed to support a broad array of speech, IVR, messaging, and conferencing, applications. Brooktrout is a member of Microsoft’s Speech Partner Program and is collaborating with Microsoft to enable faster and easier implementation of Microsoft Speech Server 2004-based applications on the TR1000 for integrators and developers. Ranging from 2 to 60 channels per board, the performance and flexibility of this feature-rich media platform allows systems to scale in both density and functionality to meet the current and evolving needs of advanced enterprise and service provider applications.
