During February of 2004 One2Connect signed on 5 new Franchisees in 5 countries, Italy, Denmark, Japan, Norway and Germany. “Based on the strength of its franchising business model, the business development organization One2Connect continued its rapid expansion in February. Five new sales executives brought their independent business development companies into the worldwide network, thus bringing the total numbers of countries on 18 on four continents. In Italy the existing One2Connect organization is strengthened with Fabio di Paco. Fabio has a long and exiting background in IT sales with companies such as Mega International, where Fabio was Sales Manager for the Italian market and Computer Associates, where Fabio managed the Northern Italian market for the MK Group Business Unit within CA. He has further worked with Speed and Andersen Consulting and in other important sales and marketing roles, including the one of a free lance sales consultant.
In Denmark One2Connect had the pleasure of welcoming Kim Olesen. Kim has a solid background in IT and Telecom from companies like Tandem and Infitel with a product and service span from Hardware and Software to Consulting and Services. Kim has an extensive experience in selling and negotiating large sales projects to the main Telcos in Europe and the Nordics.
In Japan One2Connect signed on Ken Sato as the first new franchisee in the Japanese region. Prior of joining One2Connect Kenichi has worked for The Toshiba Corporation as Engineer and Marketing Manager. In 1987 he joined Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) as Marketing & Business Manager. In 1997 he joined Cyber Net Communications as Executive Vice President. From 2000 onwards he worked at Tekelec as Marketing & Business Development Director. November 2003 Kenichi started his private business development organization.
In Norway the existing organization was strengthened with Bernt Ramm. Bernt started his career in 1985 as Technical officer at the Norwegian Coastguard. In 1993 he joined Telenor as Product Marketing Manager. In 1998 Bernt moved over to Viag Intercomm a german based company as Product Manager data communication. In 2000 he joined Netscout Systems as District Sales manager. His last role, before joining one2connect was at Wireless Access Networks, as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
The One2Connect organization in Germany welcomes Clemens Daum. Clemens started his career in 1985 at Gastronomie, when he took over the company. In 1993 he joined DDW as Software development Engineer. DDW is a company active in the field of software development for ISO 9000 programs. In 1996 Clemens joined GMO as business councilor where he’s been responsible for strategic advice to businesses on infrastructures (ERP, LAN/Wan/Server, Data Centers and End User applications). In 1997 he moved on to Bertelsmann AG as Senior Consultant and later on as Senior Manager International IT projects. January 2003 he started as independent IT Marketing & Project leader at CCOS where he’s been responsible for building the European marketing organization. CCOS (Competence Center Offshore Software) is a leading German software company that also has subsidiaries in India.
