LONDON - Lucent Technologies (NYSE:LU) today announced that it continues to strengthen its indirect sales channel across Europe as several systems integrators and resellers have met Lucent's sales and support criteria and become fully accredited members of the Lucent Advantage Business Partner programme. Lucent has recently accredited 11 channel partners to resell solutions and services for its data and optical portfolios.
New European partners who have recently joined the programme are based across the region. These include systems integrators and resellers who have been accredited to provide solutions from Lucent's optical portfolio including the Lucent Wavestar(r) family, the Lucent Metropolis(r) portfolio as well as supporting software such as Navis(r) optical management solutions. Other partners have been accredited to supply customers in Europe with solutions from Lucent's data portfolio including the Lucent Stinger(r) DSL access concentrator and the Lucent NavisRadius(tm) Authentication server, an integrated remote access security solution for service providers and carriers.
Newly accredited Lucent Business Partners are Alpina in Russia (data), Cygate Danmark (optical), Essentia in Italy (data), Inaltel in Spain (optical and data), Integrated Network Solutions in Belgium (optical), Iskra in Slovenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia & Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania (optical and data), Kapsch Carriercom in Austria (data), Landata Payma in Spain (optical), Sprint in Poland (data), Tecnocom in Spain (optical and data) and Vegacom in Czech Republic (optical).
The Lucent Advantage Business Partner programme is designed to help systems integrators and resellers partnering with Lucent to implement network projects targeted at carriers, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), large state organisations and enterprise customers. After meeting a comprehensive set of guidelines, accredited partners have access to a broad range of complete solutions, global services support and the full portfolio of Lucent technical solutions in specific areas including optical, data networking and software.
Lucent Worldwide Services will work with Lucent Business Partners to provide installation and ongoing services support on an as required basis.
