Network Associates neemt stream-to-disk technologie over om Sniffer® Technologies uit te breiden

"We vernieuwen voortdurend om de behoeften van onze klanten voor te zijn.
We doen dit onder andere door middel van strategische

integreren met de DragNet stream-to-disk technologie, blijven we producten

DragNet kan op Gigabit snelheden opereren en stelt gebruikers in staat om
informatie te achterhalen en te analyseren, nadat het op een opslagschijf
(disk storage sub-system) is weggeschreven.  Met deze stream-to-disk
technologie kunnen gebruikers een websessie reconstrueren, een, via het
FTP-proces verstuurd, bestand reproduceren of een email opnieuw creëren
zonder het 'capture' proces aan te tasten.

"We zochten naar een manier om onze vernieuwende DragNet technologie
optimaal in te zetten.  Gezien het aantal jaren dat we besteed hebben aan
onderzoek en ontwikkeling van het DragNet systeem, wilden we zeker weten
dat het succesvol geïntroduceerd zou worden," legt Ralph Yarro uit,
chairman van Traxess.  "Network Associates bood de beste
implementatiestrategie voor het Traxess product."

Een prototype van de DragNet technologie is momenteel operationeel.  Het
zal beschikbaar zijn op het Sniffer netwerkanalyse platform in het tweede
kwartaal van 2003.

Traxess
Traxess biedt een uitgebreide stream-to-disk technologie voor het vinden,
opslaan en her-creëren van al het netwerk-dataverkeer, waaronder verkeer
op netwerken die op Gigabit snelheid werken.  Traxess is gevestigd in
