Partner Automation solutions, announced today that it has added blockchain capabilities to its FLOW Partner Automation platform.
As the market continues to experiment more and more with blockchain projects and capabilities, TIE Kinetix has joined the group of companies that enable their customers to utilize blockchain capabilities for their business processes.
Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies enable companies to enhance and extend the traditional supply chain data document exchange with smart contracts. Enabling proof of delivery scenarios, enhanced secure business processes, and complex source of truth scenarios. TIE Kinetix’s FLOW Partner Automation platform uses blockchain technology to create a distributed trusted environment that enables all the participants to control where the products/goods are in the supply chain and which environmental conditions are affecting it. By enabling these capabilities, it’s now possible to track the complete supply chain exchange.
The FLOW platform is utilizing blockchain in more ways within the platform. Furthermore, blockchain is used to help calculate the value that a specific partner or party is delivering to the FLOW user’s company ecosystem. This value will be transformed into reward credits (FLOW coins) that these partners can use to spend within FLOW. The credits can be used for internal or external usage like Marketing Development Funds (MDF) to purchase products and/or services from the different partners in the partner ecosystem.
