Radical changes in work patterns and productivity in the near future, SAYS SIEMENS

The changes in future business communication will allow the user to manage their communication in a simple and intuitive manner, to keep terminals and applications in a common flow of information without restrictions and manage them intelligently.

That’s the message from Bernd Kuhlin, the President of the Enterprise Networks Division of Siemens ICN, who is visiting the United Kingdom today as part of a global tour meeting communications consultants, analysts and customers.

“Business communications stands on the brink of a new era that will generate radical changes in work patterns and productivity” said Mr Kuhlin.

“Through our HiPath Enterprise Convergence strategy, seamless integration of communications across the entire IT and mobile environments is already happening. This revolution, backed by the ability to co-ordinate all messaging and information requirements to a single interface for the user, means that people can work with total efficiency from anywhere”.

Mr Kuhlin and members of his Management team are spending three days in the UK. They will be highlighting true end user benefits already available such
as:
Single point network management for voice and data
Mobility across the workplace
Seamless integration and interaction of global applications
New workflow processes improving business productivity Realisable technological deployment and investment of TCO (total cost of
ownership) scenarios

These benefits are highlighted throughout the tour, titled “HiPath Practical Convergence. Today and Beyond”. Siemens will be showing the direction in which IP communications will develop - allowing seamless integration of communications applications into the IT and mobile environments. Business and workflow processes can be controlled from end to end and rendered more efficient, leading to a clear improvement in personal productivity and overall performance.Radical changes in work patterns and productivity in the near future, SAYS SIEMENS
