Amsterdam, 21 juni 2016 - Adobe (Nasdaq:ADBE) is door Gartner als leider benoemd in het 2016 ‘Magic Quadrant voor mobiele applicatieplatformen’. Adobe was één van de zeventien beoordeelde leveranciers in het rapport. De criteria voor het beoordelen van ‘completeness of vision’ zijn onder andere begrip van de markt, marketing-, sales- en productstrategie, bedrijfsmodel, sectorspecifieke strategie, innovatie en geografische strategie. De evaluatiecriteria voor het beoordelen van ‘ability to execute’ zijn onder andere het product, verkoop-aanpak, prijsmodel, staat van dienst en anticiperen op marktontwikkelingen, marketing-uitvoering, klantbeleving en bedrijfsvoering.

Adobe Positioned as a Leader for Four Consecutive Years

SAN JOSE, Calif.
Adobe (Nasdaq: ADBE) today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. as a Leader in the 2016 “Magic Quadrant for Mobile App Development Platforms” research report. Adobe was one of 17 vendors evaluated in the report. The evaluation criteria for completeness of vision included market understanding, marketing strategy, sales strategy, offering (product) strategy, business model, vertical/industry strategy, innovation and geographic strategy. Criteria for a vendor’s ability to execute included product or service, overall viability, sales execution/pricing, market responsiveness and track record, marketing execution,customer experience and operations.

Adobe Experience Manager Mobile simplifies the process of building and managing content-centric enterprise applications that are visually appealing and easy to use. Enterprises can incorporate new and existing content from any content management system or digital asset management system – including Adobe Experience Manager Sites, Assets and Adobe Creative Cloud. With Adobe Experience Manager Mobile, developers can further optimize the user experience of these apps by connecting them to critical business data and systems like customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP). Integration with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target enables marketers to effectively analyze engagement and improve ROI.

According to Gartner, “Leaders must represent a strong combination of Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. In the MADP sector, this means that Leaders are not only good at cross-platform development, deployment and management across the full lifecycle, but also have a good vision of the multichannel enterprise, support for multiple architectures and standards, a solid understanding of IT requirements, and scalable channels and partnerships. Leaders must provide platforms that are easy to purchase, program, deploy and upgrade, and which can connect to a range of back-end and cloud services — from both the same vendor and from third parties.”
