Graag wil ik u informeren dat Adobe een partnerovereenkomst heeft gesloten met McAfee. McAfee en Adobe integreren Data Loss Prevention (DLP) en Enterprise Digital Rights Management (DRM).
Deze gezamenlijke oplossing breidt de beveiliging van bedrijfsgegevens uit tot ver buiten de grenzen van het bedrijf. Met de combinatie van McAfee’s expertise in beleidsgebaseerde dataclassificatie en Adobe’s expertise in beleidsgebaseerde documentbeveiliging, kunnen bedrijven nu eenvoudiger hun gevoelige bedrijfsinformatie beveiligen, zoals intellectueel eigendom of financiële informatie. Met deze nieuwe oplossing kunnen organisaties overal ter wereld er zeker van zijn dat de toegang tot gevoelige informatie zich automatisch aanpast afhankelijk van de classificatie van de data en het coporate governance-beleid.

Strategic Alliance will Deliver Data Protection and Enterprise DRM to Global Customers
SANTA CLARA AND SAN JOSE, Calif. - September, 2009 – McAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE) and Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: ADBE) today announced a global alliance partnership to jointly deliver new solutions that will offer more comprehensive security to both companies’ customers.
Together, McAfee and Adobe will deliver an integrated Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Enterprise Digital Rights Management (DRM) solution to expand the reach of data protection beyond the enterprise boundaries. The combination of McAfee’s strength in policy-based data classification with Adobe’s leadership in policy-based document protection will allow organizations to more easily secure critical business information such as intellectual property or regulatory compliance data. With this new solution, organizations worldwide can ensure that access control to sensitive information is automatically applied based on classification of the data and enforce corporate governance policies to reduce costly information loss.

When the scan is complete, users see a report detailing the presence and status of security protection, and are presented with special offers for McAfee security software, including McAfee Anti-Virus, McAfee Internet Security, McAfee Total Protection, and McAfee Family Protection.
