De Meern, 29 april 2008 - Oracle maakt bekend dat het goedkeuring heeft gekregen van de Europese Commissie over de overname van BEA Systems, Inc.
“Het samenbrengen van twee organisaties met een gemeenschappelijke visie op moderne service-oriented architecture (SOA) infrastructuur resulteert in snellere innovaties”, zegt Oracle President Charles Philips. “Oracle en BEA bieden gezamenlijk een hele reeks complementaire middleware producten waarmee klanten eenvoudiger veilige omgevingen kunnnen ontwikkelen, implementeren en beheren.”
