JUNIPER NETWORKS APPOINTS VICE PRESIDENT, ENTERPRISE SALES FOR EMEA
Hans-Peter Bauer Joins Team Following Strong Q4
SCHIPHOL-RIJK, March 20th, 2007 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) today announced the appointment of Hans-Peter Bauer to the role of vice president, enterprise sales EMEA. Bauer will report to Gert-Jan Schenk, vice president of operations EMEA, who had previously been fulfilling this role. Reporting to Bauer will be the leaders of Juniper Networks' enterprise sales teams across the region.
Bauer brings a wide range of enterprise and systems integration experience to Juniper, having held senior sales and management roles at a number of leading IT companies over the past 20+ years, including Symantec, Lotus/IBM, Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC), Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), and Macromedia/Adobe. Most recently, Bauer was managing director of Adobe's Northern European organization.
