(Nasdaq: JNPR) today announced that customers worldwide are securing their networks with Juniper's high-end integrated security gateway (ISG) that combines firewall/virtual private network (VPN) and intrusion detection and prevention (IDP) capabilities on a single appliance.
Some of Juniper Networks' latest customers include: AvantGo®, a mobile Internet service of iAnywhere; ProBusiness, a division of ADP National Account Services; University of Nevada, Reno; Yakult, one of the largest food distributors in Korea; Tabung Haji, a financial organization in Malaysia; Persistent Systems, a software development company in India; Bergen Kommune, a local government organization in Norway; and TDC Song, a leading telecom operator in Norway.

Delivering on the Enterprise Infranet framework, the Juniper Networks' ISG 1000 and 2000 platforms can be operated as a single firewall/VPN service or with IDP as an elective add-on to provide enterprise customers with increased levels of delivery and threat control. Medium to large enterprises, as well as carriers and data centers utilize the integrated security gateway platform and IDP to protect its networks against worms, trojans, spyware and other emerging threats, as well as application layer threats. Used in combination, the ISG with IDP appliances provide strong access control, secure communications, and network and application-level security while lowering the total cost of ownership for deploying best-in-class firewall, VPN and intrusion prevention services.
