Active Voice distributes LightningFAX and XMediusFAX solutions that are now interoperable with Eicon's Diva Server platform

The currently-shipping, LightningFAX and XMediusFAX solutions now support the entire Eicon Diva Server product line for analogue, BRI, PRI and E1 connectivity. Eicon's Diva Server platform has proven to be a robust and competitively-priced solution. Its rich feature set diversifies the array of supported enterprise fax platforms.

Even though XMediusFAX is a T.38 Fax-over-IP solution, it also supports the Diva Server product line. The reason for this is that not all organisations currently have the infrastructure to support T.38 Fax-over-IP. XMediusFAX then provides a very easy migration path from a boarded fax solution to a boardless T.38 Fax-over-IP solution. Also, in global organisations a one-hit migration is not required as a mixture of boarded fax and T.38 Fax-over-IP is supported with XMediusFAX.

Active Voice has recently set up a channel partner program for resellers of XMediusFAX and LightningFAX. As part of this program, Active Voice supports partners in the field of marketing, technology and leads. In addition, the company contributes to marketing costs and trains employees. About LightningFAX and XMediusFAX
LightningFAX allows users to send and receive faxes digitally or in analogue mode from any desktop application, multifunction device (MFD) or Web browser. Furthermore, it integrates seamlessly with messaging solutions like Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes to deliver faxes directly to email inboxes. LightningFAX transmits faxes quickly and securely over corporate LANs, WANs, and VPNs using Least Cost Routing, dramatically reducing long-distance costs and streamlining business workflows. LightningFAX makes use of fax boards to send fax documents.

XMediusFAX has the same functionality as LightningFAX; in addition XMediusFAX companies can safely and securely send and receive fax documents through the existing IP network (FoIP), without the need of special fax lines or fax boards. XMediusFAX is available in three versions:

• Express, for smaller companies with a maximum of four lines and 100 users;
• Enterprise, for medium-sized and large companies with an unlimited number of users and a maximum of 120 lines on one server. A solution with more than one server is possible too;
• SP, for Service Providers and large companies: supports multi-tenanting, which makes it possible to divide the system into hundreds of virtual fax servers, each with its own settings, cues and system administrators.

All versions of XMediusFAX can be used with fax boards or without fax boards (T.38 Fax-over-IP).
