Gartner plaatst BT bovenaan in het Magic Quadrant rapport over Europese Network Service Providers. De vergeleken Service Providers zijn allemaal aanbieders van vaste, zakelijke netwerkoplossingen in meer dan één Europees land. "Dat Gartner ons bovenin het Leader Quadrant plaatst, bevestigt onze focus om ondernemingen die over meerdere locaties verspreid zijn te helpen zo goed mogelijk gebruik te maken van de digitale netwerk economie", aldus Andy Green, CEO BT Global Services. Om zich te kwalificeren, moeten organisaties managed netwerkdiensten in minimaal zes Europese landen aanbieden en zich richten op grensoverschrijdende netwerken.

BT POSITIONED IN LEADER QUADRANT FOR PAN-EUROPEAN NETWORK SERVICE PROVIDERS
BT announced today that BT Global Services, its business services and solutions division serving customers worldwide, has been positioned in the leader quadrant of Gartner Inc.'s Magic Quadrant for Pan-European Network Service Providers as of June 2004*. The quadrant is based on scores for "ability to execute" and "completeness of vision".
Gartner's Magic Quadrant for pan-European Network Service Providers compares twenty pan-European NSPs - defined by Gartner as " suppliers of fixed, corporate networking solutions that span more than one European country." To qualify, operators must offer managed network services in at least six European countries and focus on cross-border networks.
