Canberra, 7 June 2004 – Protocom Development Systems, a global leader in password management solutions, today announced the expansion of its customer support services with the establishment of a European support centre in Brielle, Netherlands. The European support centre will operate in addition to the Australia and California support centres, which provision 24-hour, seven-day technical assistance to Protocom customers around the world.
The establishment of the European support centre will significantly enhance the Protocom global support services by providing Protocom’s European customers with native-language support and access to locally-based software engineers.
“Protocom European customers needing technical support can now call the Brielle support centre to receive technical support in their local language.” Protocom Chief Information Officer Craig Parker said.
Protocom established the European support centre in response to significant expansion in its European customer base and to ensure continued delivery of efficient technical support to customers across the European region.
“Since Protocom’s European operations were established in 2001, we have grown 1000% in terms of the number of seats we have sold in European countries.” Mr Parker said.
“Approximately 55% of Protocom’s total growth can be attributed to expansion in its European operations. This is noteworthy considering that on the whole, Protocom has experienced growth of 369%1 in recent years and is one of the fastest growing Australian-based IT firms. Only last month, we received 11th place in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards scheme.” Mr Parker said.
