COLT Telecom Group plc (COLT), a leading European provider of business communication services, announces today that Oracle, the world’s largest enterprise software company, has chosen COLT as a European hosting service provider (HSP) for its software outsourcing service.
Earlier this year, COLT was selected as an Oracle Authorised Network Provider (ANP) in Europe, and as a result of the success of the partnership, Oracle has now extended its agreement to hosting service provision. This means that COLT will be a recommended provider of services, from network connectivity to managed hosting, in support of Oracle Outsourcing.
With a four year proven track record, expanded service offerings and more than 500 customers worldwide, Oracle’s Outsourcing business continues to mature and gain momentum with customers and partners. Oracle Outsourcing helps customers achieve more predictable, lower Information Technology (IT) costs with better software management.
