SAN FRANCISCO (March 5, 2003) — Critical Path, Inc. (Nasdaq: CPTH), a global leader in digital communications software and services, today announced that Chris Gorog, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Roxio, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROXI), leader in digital media software, has been appointed to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Mr. Gorog joined Roxio as president and CEO in 2000 and was named Chairman a year later. He led the company successfully through its public offering in 2001 and is responsible for the company's acquisition of MGI Software and recent purchase of Napster. Roxio provides the best selling digital media software in the world.

Prior to joining Roxio, Mr. Gorog served as President of New Business Development for Universal Studios Recreation Group and as Executive Vice President of Group Operations. Upon his departure from Universal, Mr. Gorog participated in the acquisition of Universal Concerts by House of Blues Entertainment and became a member of House of Blue's board of directors. Before joining Universal, he served as President and Chief Executive officer of the worldwide motion picture and television production company, ITC Entertainment Group. Prior to ITC, Mr. Gorog served as Vice President of Business Affairs for The Walt Disney Company where he oversaw deal making for both the film and television divisions.
Mr. Gorog received his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Telecommunications from San Diego State University.
