reBuy reCommerce GmbH announced today that Torsten Schero has resigned as CEO of reBuy. Schero has held this position since 2016, he will be leaving the company for personal reasons.
Philipp Gattner, previously CSO and member of the management board, will assume the overall management of the company, as Schero's successor. As CSO, Gattner has been responsible for the strategic direction of the company for more than three years, and has played a major role in reBuys expansion into other European countries.
"I greatly appreciate the trust that the shareholders and employees have in me. Therefore, I am pleased to take over the position of Managing Director at reBuy from now on. At this point, I would also like to thank Torsten Schero for the positive cooperation. We will maintain our strategic orientation in order to continue reBuy's successful course of the past years,” emphasizes the new Managing Director, Gattner, “For the new year, we will focus even more on consumer electronics. There is still a lot of growth potential here".

Philipp Gattner has been Chief Strategy Officer at reBuy since 2015. In this position, he is responsible for the strategic direction and successful internationalization of the company. Gattner previously spent several years as a consultant at McKinsey. He studied economics and development policy in St. Gallen and London and later earned his doctorate.
