Amsterdam, 26 april 2016 - Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), leverancier van opensourceoplossingen, kondigt de oprichting aan van Red Hat Open Innovation Labs. Deze consulting service is gericht op de integratie van mensen, methodologie en technologie om bedrijfsuitdagingen van klanten sneller op te lossen. Onderdeel van Open Innovation Labs is een nauwe samenwerking tussen klanten en experts van Red Hat om initiatieven waarbij opensourcetechnologie en DevOps worden gebruikt te ontplooien en innovatie te stimuleren.
Digitalisering gaat steeds meer om het verbinden van mensen, processen, gegevens en apparaten en het mogelijk maken van nieuwe zakelijke innovatieplatforms. Software stimuleert deze verschuiving en stelt bedrijven in staat om innovatie-gedreven voordelen te realiseren. Met Red Hat Open Innovation Labs kunnen klanten snel applicaties ontwikkelen en ze integreren met behulp van microservices.
Met Red Hat Open Innovation Labs kunnen klanten:
- Vanaf dag één werken aan een echt bedrijfsprobleem. Door gebruik te maken van Red Hat’s push-button infrastructuur en geautomatiseerde ontwikkelomgevingen kunnen teams sneller met het ontwikkelproces starten en sneller waarde toevoegen.
- Leren hoe ze kunnen profiteren van moderne applicatieontwikkeltechnologieën en –methodologieën. Dit betreft migraties, microservice architecturen, container applicatieplatformen, DevOps, applicatie en data-integratie, mobiele en hybride cloudstrategieën.
- Een brug slaan tussen legacy en moderne applicatieontwikkeling op één platform. Teams worden geholpen oplossingen te ontwikkelen, applicaties te moderniseren of geheel nieuwe uitdagingen aan te gaan.
- Op de Red Hat-manier leren innoveren. Door deel te nemen en samen te werken met de open source community.
- On-site en virtueel innoveren. Door te voldoen aan nieuwe eisen voortkomend uit digitale transformaties krijgen teams toegang tot omgevingen op verschillende locaties. Red Hat biedt een veiligere cloud-omgeving, zodat geautoriseerde teamleden kunnen samenwerken. Ontwikkelen kan bij de klant, in een Red Hat-labomgeving of virtueel plaatsvinden.
Beschikbaarheid
Red Hat Open Innovation Labs is per direct beschikbaar op locatie bij klanten in Noord-Amerika, en zal naar verwachting later dit jaar volledige wereldwijd beschikbaar zijn.
