Barendrecht - May 13, 2014 – ICT Automatisering (ICT) announces the launch of a new product for seamless integration of horizontal and vertical shop-floor and business systems enabling a smart manufacturing enterprise.

The Smart Business Connector enables manufacturing companies to create a fully connected enterprise from shop-floor to top-floor and its build-in logic and algorithm engine ensures right information structure and application performance. Business and shop-floor systems like ERP, WMS, LIMS, MES and other smart devices such as barcode printers, scanners can be connected in a standard manner and in adherence to industry standards like ISA-95.
The Smart Business Connector comes with a Graphical User Interface for manual data entry and an easy to configure ‘logic engine’ that can support among others a contamination matrix for Cleaning in Place processes. The Smart Business Connector is fully based on the proven Microsoft.NET platform.
Jac Rombouts, Sales Director ICT Automatisering: “The Smart Business Connector has already been adopted in several large MES projects for leading manufacturers, in which it provides the standard communication between the MES application and the ERP (SAP) , WMS and LIMS.
