Amsterdam, 14 november 2013 – Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), leverancier van opensourceoplossingen, heeft Dick Lans aangesteld als regional director Benelux. Lans zal de dagelijkse leiding van het bedrijf op zich nemen en is verantwoordelijk voor Red Hat’s
development,
business en
support activiteiten in de Benelux. Hij zal ook een belangrijke rol spelen in de continue evolutie van het Red Hat ecosysteem met partners en distributeurs in de lokale markt.
Lans werkte voorheen bij Oracle waar hij over de afgelopen negen jaar diverse leidinggevende functies vervulde. Zo ontwikkelde hij als senior marketing directeur Benelux & Israël in 2004 de fushion middleware business unit voor de Benelux. Bij Red Hat zal hij zich richten op business development voor het gehele Red Hat-portfolio – van Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat JBoss Middleware en Red Hat Storage tot oplossingen voor virtualisatie en cloud computing.
