Rotterdam - 31. October 2013 - Op 7 en 8 november organiseert de onafhankelijke
Progress User Group (PUG) hun grootste EMEA-evenement ooit gehouden: EMEA PUG Challenge.
community forum.

Progress User Conference to Spark Application Innovation
Largest EMEA Progress User Group to be Held in Brussels on November 7 and 8
LONDON – 31
st October 2013 –The independent
Progress User Group (PUG) will be hosting its biggest ever EMEA conference in Brussels on November 7 and 8.
The
EMEA PUG Challenge, hosted by the association of Progress User Groups for the EMEA region, will see hundreds of developers, partners and end-users from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa come together to learn and share the latest best practices for application development and data integration, including the latest mobile and cloud technologies.
For many attendees the main attraction will be the chance to talk with Progress experts and executives regarding the company’s platform as a service (PaaS) launched earlier this year:
Progress® Pacific™.
Bert Tukkers, President of the EMEA PUG and head of staff at Flusso, said: “Hearing peers discuss real projects and learning about Progress best practices is invaluable. This event will help spark another generation of business applications across EMEA, especially as it relates to the role of cloud computing. Crucially we all gain practical knowledge that we can go back and use at our desks the very next Monday.”
Hosted in the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, the conference follows on from the success of
Progress Exchange, the Boston-based event held in early October, which saw the company reveal a new identity, updates and an innovative community forum.
The Community is an online hub for developers which will allow them to access and share expert content.
Now in its fourth year, the EMEA PUG Challenge will include more than 70 presentations and workshops on everything from commercial topics to programming architecture and mobile user interface. Sessions will be led by speakers from the community and experts from within Progress, with Progress CEO Phil Pead and chief technology officer, Karen Tegan Padir and also attending.
Mark Armstrong, vice president and managing director of EMEA at Progress, said: “Developers are very important to Progress and this user group is fantastic chance for us to learn from them. Our partners and customers are leveraging cloud and mobile technologies to create data-driven applications that transform the way business is done and I think everyone will be amazed to learn about the next generation of apps that our technology is enabling.”
