Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), ’s werelds grootste leverancier van open-source oplossingen, lanceert vandaag het virtuele trainingsaanbod in Europa. De virtuele training biedt dezelfde hoogwaardige content en hands-on practica aan in vergelijking met traditionele klassikale training. Het wordt online geleverd door een live instructeur op afstand, ideaal voor degenen waarvan het budget of de tijdsplanning niet toereikend genoeg zijn. De training biedt flexibiliteit voor cursisten die niet in de nabijheid van een opleidingscentrum wonen. Naast de beschikbaarheid in Noord-Amerika, is de training nu ook beschikbaar in de meeste Europese landen.
De meerderheid van Red Hat’s cursussen zijn als virtuele training beschikbaar. In totaal worden er 21 trainingen aangeboden, die het complete scala van het aanbod omvatten. Hierbij inbegrepen zijn onder andere de fundamentele en geavanceerde Red Hat Administration System, JBoss Application Administration en JBoss Development. Red Hat biedt ook de optie voor een training voor zes of meer personen die op verschillende locaties gevestigd zijn maar dezelfde training nodig hebben.
‘Red Hat’s virtuele training biedt live, gecertificeerde, remote instructeurs die deelnemers voorzien van taakgerichte activiteiten en op praktijk gebaseerde kennis, met het gemak van het eigen bureau van de deelnemer, aldus Jens Zieman, directeur van Red Hat Training EMEA. ‘deelnemers hebben geen reis- en verblijfkosten en verliezen geen tijd van hun werkdag om certificering te bereiken. Het nieuwe trainingsformat zorgt voor de overdracht van vaardigheden met het behoud van de inhoud van de klassikale training en het geeft hogere productiviteit.’
Organisaties die in een formele training van Red Hat investeren zijn beter voorbereid om Red Hat en JBoss Enterprise applicaties en oplossingen te implementeren en beheren. Daarnaast worden best practices gestimuleerd om zo de efficiëntie binnen een organisatie te verbeteren. Momenteel zijn er meer dan 110.000 gecertificeerde professionals van Red Hat en meerdere niveaus van certificeringen beschikbaar. Deze omvatten Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Red Hat Architect (RHCA) evenals verschillende JBoss ontwikkelaars- en beheerdersreferenties.
