Amersfoort, 13 juli 2012 – Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), leverancier van opensourceoplossingen, komt met een nieuw initiatief genaamd The JBoss Way. Dankzij een nieuwe reeks frameworks, tools en architectuurontwerpen kunnen ontwikkelaars applicaties op een snellere en productievere manier creëren.
Innovaties zoals HTML5, mobiel, web-browser eventing, Java EE 6, cloud deployment en in-container testing kunnen snel en simpel worden opgenomen als onderdeel van The JBoss Way. Red Hat heeft recente technische ontwikkelingen uit de open source community geïntegreerd in JBoss Developer Studio 5 en JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 6, waaronder: Java EE 6, Arquillian, Hibernate 4, AeroGear, Errai, RichFaces, JBoss Forge, TorqueBox en Red Hat OpenShift. De combinatie van deze technologieën verbetert de efficiëntie van ontwikkelaars en biedt technische mogelijkheden om moderne applicatie-eisen aan te pakken.
The JBoss Way biedt een duidelijke leidraad, aanbevelingen en een sterke focus op realisatie en maakt de weg vrij voor de adoptie en integratie van nieuwe technologieën. Ontwikkelaars kunnen tevens beschikken over een groot en groeiend scala aan middelen waaronder een compleet aanbod handleidingen, Maven archetypes, richtlijnen voor de architectuur, screencasts, referentie architecturen en meer dan 50 quick-starts. The JBoss Way wil ontwikkelaars voorzien van de nieuwste open source innovaties met een praktische aanpak voor snelle en eenvoudige adoptie.
Naast het nieuwe JBoss initiatief is nu ook JBoss Developer Studio 5 beschikbaar. De oplossing bevat meerdere wizards waardoor het makkelijk is de technologie in te zetten. JBoss Forge is verankerd in JBoss Developer Studio 5 en ontwikkelaars kunnen daardoor direct resultaat boeken zonder dat ze alle specificatie- en configuratie-eisen van een onbekend programmeermodel moeten begrijpen.
Extra functies in de nieuwe versie zijn: uitgebreide CDI tooling en een browser simulator ontworpen om verschillende mobiele browsers en Maven integratie na te bootsen. Ook deze zijn bedoeld om de productiviteit van ontwikkelaars te verbeteren en ze te helpen applicaties te bouwen met behulp van JBoss Developer Studio 5.
