Amersfoort, 5 maart 2010–Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT), marktleider in opensourceoplossingen, maakt vandaag bekend dat Deutsche Börse Systems, de IT-divisie van Deutsche Börse AG, Red Hat Enterprise MRG implementeert met de Advanced Messaging Queuing Protocol (AMQP) standaard en Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Beiden zijn ontworpen om realtime transactie risicomanagement mogelijk te maken.
Het bedrijf implementeert als een van de eerste grote organisaties in de financiële dienstverlening AMQP, een open standaard messaging protocol dat onderdeel is van Red Hat Enterprise MRG, een nieuwe generatie IT-infrastructuur dat messaging-, realtime- en grid-functionaliteiten bevat en geschikt is voor cloud computing toepassingen. Tot op heden werd financiële business messaging gedomineerd door proprietary interfaces.
De nieuwe risicomanagementfunctionaliteit maakt deel uit van devolgende versie van het handelssysteem van derivatenbeursEurex, een joint venture van Deutsche Börse AG en SIX Swiss Exchange. Het nieuwe risicosupportplatform gaat naar verwachting begin 2010 live. Het zal dan veilig en bijna realtime toegang bieden tot kritische informatie. Hiermee kunnen banken en andere financiële instituten risico’s ontdekken, en effectiever bijhouden en managen.
´We hebbenervoor gekozen om Red Hat Enterprise MRG Messaging met AMQP te implementeren zodat onze banken makkelijk toegang hebben tot relevante gegevens. De open standaard AMQP helpt ons complexe en tijdrovende ontwikkeling van gebruikersspecifieke adaptors te omzeilen,’ zegt Gerhard Lessmann, bestuurslid Deutsche Börse Systems.

Met AMQP worden ontwikkelprocessen versneld en bedrijfsdoelstellingen gerealiseerd. AMQP is een open standaard waardoor het voor IT-afdelingen makkelijker wordt hun eigen risico management te verbinden met de Eurex interface.
