– RES Software, marktleider op het gebied van User Workspace Management-software, heeft een recordgroei aan klanten bereikt in het vierde kwartaal van 2009 vergeleken met het derde kwartaal van 2009. Tot de nieuwe klanten behoren onder andere IBM, Het Leger Des Heils, SNS Reaal, Schneider Versandt, Scania en Tergooi Ziekenhuizen. De groei is te danken aan een toenemende vraag naar user workspace management-software in veranderingstrajecten met betrekking tot desktops.
RES PowerFuse biedt organisaties de mogelijkheid om traditionele desktops te transformeren naar dynamische gebruikersomgevingen. Het product levert elke eindgebruiker overal en altijd de juiste combinatie van applicaties, data, printer- en gebruikersinstellingen. Deze ‘user workspaces’ zijn veilig en contextafhankelijk en worden centraal beheerd. Hiermee wordt het beheer veel minder complex en blijft de productiviteit van de eindgebruikers op peil.

Sixty-Five Percent Customer Growth in Q4 Reflects Company’s Unprecedented Ability to Transform Traditional Desktops into Dynamic User Workspaces
Philadelphia, USA
– RES Software, the proven leader in user workspace management, announced today that it achieved record growth in the fourth quarter of 2009 as compared to the third quarter of 2009. New customers, including the IBM, Salvation Army, SNS Reaal, Schneider Versandt, Scania and Tergooi Hospitals, selected RES Software due in large part to its award-winning, patented technology. Designed for physical or virtual desktop platforms, PowerFuse enables organizations to transform traditional desktops into dynamic user workspaces, minimizing the amount of resources necessary to manage these environments and ensuring end-user productivity and satisfaction.
RES Software experienced record growth in the fourth quarter of 2009, with total customer wins growing sixty-five percent in Q4 2009 as compared to Q3 of that same year. Growth was driven by increased demand for its user workspace management solutions from organizations looking to accelerate strategic IT automation, desktop transformation and virtualization projects.
RES Software’s user workspace management solutions enable the essential context-aware, secure and centrally managed delivery of applications, data, printing and personalized settings to users, irrelevant of their location. This critical ability enables IT professionals to better manage and maintain their desktop environments day-to-day and when migrating to new Windows operating systems, to a new application delivery infrastructure or from a physical to a virtual desktop platform.
