18 oktober, 2007 – Double-Take® Software (NASDAQ: DBTK) presenteert vandaag een oplossing voor databescherming voor systemen die werken met de SAP® ERP Central Component. Deze oplossing van Double-Take ondersteunt twee scenario’s voor de bescherming van gegevens: Server Recovery Option (SRO) en een high-availability failover voor SAP ERP Central Component.
Double-Take Software voorziet real time databescherming en –replicatie via zijn file-systeemtechnologie. Deze repliceert alle veranderingen in het file-systeem (inclusief toestemming en attributen) die worden opgeslagen in een NTFS-systeem van een source-server naar een target-server via het netwerk.
Double-Take Software rondde onlangs een integratie-evaluatie af die werd uitgevoerd door het SAP Integration & Certification Center (SAP ICC). Bovendien toonde Double-Take Software met succes aan dat zijn oplossing deze systemen ook bescherming biedt dankzij een doorlopende online back-up. Tot slot biedt Double-Take systemen die werken met de SAP ERP Central Component bij bepaalde configuraties ook high–availability fail-over-bescherming.
Double-Take Software biedt gebruikers van SAP ERP Central Component-gebaseerde systemen een waardevolle oplossing voor doorlopende online back-up. Aangezien Double-Take geen rechtstreekse integratie heeft met de SAP ERP Central Component op API-niveau, heeft het geen integratiecertificatie van SAP nodig. Hierdoor laat de oplossing van Double-Take zich gemakkelijk inpassen in bestaande omgevingen.
