Bilthoven, 23 april 2007– Business Objects, leverancier van Business Intelligence-oplossingen (BI), heeft overeenstemming bereikt over de overname van Cartesis S.A. Cartesis is leverancier van enterprise performance management (EPM) oplossingen en heeft wereldwijd meer dan 1.300 klanten. Met de overname is een bedrag gemoeid van 225 miljoen euro in contanten. De afronding van de acquisitie wordt verwacht binnen 90 dagen.
Het portfolio van Cartesis bestaat uit toepassingen voor financiële rapportages, consolidatie, planning, compliance, governance en risicoanalyse. Met deze overname breidt Business Objects zijn performance management platform verder uit. Hierdoor beschikken CFO’s over een compleet pakket EPM-oplossingen.
