iPass To Add Support for Windows Vista

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. - January 24, 2007 - Continuing in its commitment to unify the management of mobility for the enterprise, iPass, Inc. (NASDAQ: IPAS) today announced that it plans to deliver a version of the iPassConnect™ universal client for Microsoft’s new Windows Vista operating system. The iPassConnect client is the user interface for the iPass Mobile Office and iPass Virtual Office global connectivity services. The new client software is scheduled to be released in Q2 2007, with a demonstration version planned for availability in March.

iPassConnect for Vista will help make remote and mobile connectivity simple and secure for Vista users as they connect to the Internet and corporate network over multiple access methods such as Wi-Fi, 3G mobile data, fixed broadband and dial-up. iPass services already support a broad array of device platforms, including Windows XP, Mac OS X, Windows Mobile and Symbian OS.
