Rotterdam – 17th of July, 2006 - Novell today announced the appointment of Vijay Srinivasan as Vice President Consulting and the appointment of Adrian Humbel as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Identity Management for Europe. Working both on EMEA level (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), they will be reporting to Tom Francese, President, Novell EMEA
In his new role, Srinivasan will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, market direction, thought leadership and performance of the Novell Consulting business. Working closely with Novell’s Area General Managers, his primary objective will be to continue to grow the profitable consulting business, aligned to each Area's business goals. Humbel, who has been Vice President Security & Identity since 2005 will be responsible for the overall Security and Identity strategy of Novell in EMEA including routes to market, business development and thought leadership.
Adrian Humbel
Prior to this assignment, Humbel had been leading the EMEA Identity Management Impact team and the EMEA Identity Management Consulting Practice. Since 2003 he has been involved in major Identity Management projects with Novell solutions at French Tax Department, Guarida Civil, Star Alliance, Lufthansa, British Telecom, ING Bank, Philips and other key customers. Humbel joined Novell in 1991. He had been the Country Manager for Novell Switzerland from 1995 to 2000 and has since joined the EMEA Management Team, leading the EMEA Enterprise Solutions Group. Humbel is based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Vijay Srinivasan Srinivasan will continue to hold direct accountability for the Swiss consulting business, mentoring the Geneva management team and helping further develop Novell’s Zurich-based client portfolio.
Born in India in 1958, Srinivasan, who has an MBA from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., started his career in 1982 as a Consultant at Price Waterhouse. Three years later he joined MCI Telecommunications Corporation in Virginia, and as Project Manager was responsible for the development of sizable financial systems related to cost and revenue analysis. In 1991 he moved to Switzerland, joining Cambridge Technology Partners as a Marketing Director in 1993 to oversee the Swiss French region. In November 2005, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer and President of Cambridge Technology Partners, Switzerland.
