Nördlingen, June 7, 2006 - Rood Technology in Nördlingen, the German group company of Rood Testhouse International N.V., announced that its Environmental Management System (EMS) according to EN ISO 14001 has been audited successfully. The audit has been carried out by the DQS in Frankfurt (Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen).
The EN ISO 14001, a worldwide approved standard, is an environmental management system which supports the implementation of the operational environmental protection within the management system. Therefore environmental aspects and customer requirements will be incorporated in all processes and company strategic decisions. The implementation of the EMS is an additional milestone building up an integrated management system at Rood Technology.

Rood Technology in Germany holds the ISO/TS 16949 certification already since 2004. ISO/TS 16949 is a certification standard set by the automotive industry which is based on the requirements of ISO 9000, QS 9000 and VDA 6.1. Also this audit was performed by the DQS.
With these certifications Rood Technology has undertaken a further step to fulfil customer requirements and to offer added value to customers from the automotive, telecommunication, data processing, medical and consumer industry.
