Philip Nijenhuis, CEO of Rood Testhouse International N.V. (Rood Technology), today announces that sales in the second half of 2005 (€ 4,4 million) showed positive growth of 15,2% in comparison to the first half of 2005 (€ 3,8 million).
Sales actually increased throughout the year. The rise in total sales over 2005 amounted to € 8,2 million (in comparison with € 7,8 million in 2004). For Rood’s core business, i.e. Test and Related Services (excluding the equipment branch, which was sold), sales increased by 12,8%, from € 7,2 million in 2004 to € 8,2 million in 2005.
All sectors contributed to this growth, in particular the Failure Analysis sector, which showed a remarkable increase amounting to over 100%. Rood Technology expects to achieve significant growth, which will predominantly be realised during the second half of the year. All sectors are likely to contribute to this growth, with Qualification and Failure Analysis as the main drivers.
The 2005 operational result will be in line with the projections previously released. The annual results will be published before opening of the stock exchange market on March 2nd, 2006. The Annual Meeting of Shareholders will take place on March 27th, 2006.
