Schiphol-Rijk, 9 september 2005 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) today announced that it received the number one position in the broadband aggregation router market in the second quarter of 2005 with a 41.4% market share based on revenue, according to Gartner.
Broadband aggregation routers accept and process large amounts of traffic from consumer broadband access aggregation devices such as DSLAMs, fiber to the home/curb (FTTx) termination equipment, and wireless head ends.
Juniper Networks E-series Broadband Services Routers have long been leaders in broadband aggregation, and as integrated voice, video and data (triple-play) services drive demand for broadband routers, Juniper continues to deliver new features and platforms-such as the recently introduced E320-to support triple-play services with assured levels of quality, reliability and performance.
