SAP-services provider Ctac announces the intention to further expand its "SAP Powerhouse" strategy with the addition of two new subsidiaries. These two companies are Alphalogic, which focuses on SAP solutions in the field of logistics management, and Re-Spect, which specialises in SAP solutions for the retail segment. Both companies will be consolidated as of 1 January 2005, after a final agreement has been signed.
The company newly added to the Ctac group, Alphalogic, will be the result of the acquisition of 51% of the shares. Alphalogic focuses fully on SAP solutions for logistical processes. In 2004, Alphalogic booked a profitable turnover of around EUR 900,000. As per 1 January 2005, Alphalogic had nine employees.
The eleven SAP retail consultants whom Ctac took over from TDS Nederland as per 1 October 2004 will be employed in the subsidiary Re-Spect. Ctac will hold a 51% majority interest in Re-Spect, while the managers and employees will hold the remaining shares. Re-Spect focuses specifically on SAP solutions for the retail industry.
The launch of the new companies is entirely in line with Ctac's "SAP Powerhouse" strategy, in which a number of subsidiaries with a specific and carefully selected market and product focus, serve specific niches in the SAP market. In line with this strategy, Ctac successfully launched the company mYuice in 2004. mYuice specialises in SAP solutions for small and medium-sized businesses.
Ctac will finance the acquisition of the stakes in Alphalogic and Re-Spect from its own resources.
