Uxbridge, 17th January, 2005 – In 2004, Xerox products, software and services earned more than 200 awards and honours worldwide, with 75 industry accolades coming from European business and industry magazines and trade bodies. Xerox ended the year by winning seven industry awards from Better Buys for Business and Buyers Laboratory Inc., two independent US research organisations.
Better Buys for Business, a leading independent authority on office imaging equipment, bestowed “Editor’s Choice” awards on four Xerox digital colour systems: the Xerox CopyCentre® C3545 colour copier, WorkCentre® Pro C3545 colour advanced multifunction system, DocuColor 12 colour copier/printer; and DocuColor 3535 colour advanced multifunction system.
Xerox also received three “Pick of the Year” awards from BLI for the Phaser® 7750GX colour laser printer, the Phaser 4500DX laser printer, and the WorkCentre M20i desktop multifunction device. BLI conducts intensive competitive testing on document products, comparing overall performance, productivity, reliability and ease of use, among many other critical performance factors. The organisation found the Phaser and WorkCentre products to be superior.
