SALT LAKE CITY - 2 november 2004 - LANDesk Software LANDesk Software, a leader in integrated desktop, server and mobile device management software, today announced the company's 17th consecutive quarter of operating profitability, achieving a 41 percent year-over-year increase in channel sales during the third quarter. The company's growth was driven by strong new customer sales, representing more than 60 percent of total sales, and accelerated international sales.
The increase in international sales, accounting for more than 50 percent of overall sales, was driven by strong market demand for LANDesk Software's patch management solution, award winning asset management solution, and tightly integrated systems management suite.

"Knowing what systems and software are in your IT environment, and being able to proactively make them more secure has quickly become the top concern for IT organizations worldwide."
LANDesk Software's sales in China grew by more than 290 percent year-over-year, and more than 45 percent quarter-over-quarter. The company's sales in EMEA grew by more than 50 percent year-over-year.
LANDesk Software's systems management technologies and architecture provide a robust foundation for continued innovation in IT solutions that address security management issues such as patch management, unlicensed or unauthorized software usage and more.
