STOCKHOLM, Sweden / AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands - August 20, 2004 - LB Icon AB (LB Icon; the Company), internationally active in Internet Consulting and Web Services, made a recommended offer to acquire the whole issued and to be issued share capital of Aspect Internet Holdings Limited (the "Offer") on July 9, 2004.
As at 3 pm UK time on July 30, 2004, the deadline for acceptances under the Offer, LB Icon had received acceptances in respect of 93.4% of the nominal value of the Aspect shares to which the Offer relates. On July 30, 2004, the acceptance period for the Offer was extended 3 pm on August 20, 2004.
As at 3 pm UK time on August 20, 2004, LB Icon had received acceptances in respect of 96.8% of the nominal value of the Aspect shares to which the Offer relates. The Offer will continue to be open for acceptances until the remaining conditions have been satisfied. LB Icon expects those conditions to be satisfied by the end of August and anticipates being able to deliver LB Icon shares or make any cash payments as appropriate to Aspect shareholders, pursuant to the Offer, during September.
