Noerdlingen, July 23, 2004 --- Rood Technology Deutschland in Noerdlingen, the German group company of Rood Testhouse International, announced the successful certification according to ISO/TS 16949:2002.
ISO/TS 16949 is a certification standard set by the automotive industry, which requirements go far beyond those of ISO 9000. The audit according to ISO/TS 16949 was performed by DQS, a well-known and globally acting company certifying management systems. Even for DQS it was an extraordinary event to audit a service provider like Rood Technology. Typically only companies which build their own products are certified according to this standard. Therefore Mr. Michael Drechsel – Managing Director of DQS – personally presented the certificates to Hans-Joachim Mertens – Quality Manager Rood Technology – and Dr. Anton Kotz – Managing Director Rood Technology.
