Itanium(r) 2-based HP Integrity servers continues to grow with the deployment of the servers in several prominent financial institutions across the globe. HP Integrity servers meet financial services customer challenges head-on by substantially increasing performance, inducing cost reduction due to an industry-standard system, and heightening scalability that contributes to improved client service.
The following U.S.-based financial services companies are among those migrating to the HP Integrity platform: Chicago Mercantile Exchange, CitiStreet, First American, First Trust and Raymond James. International financial services companies that have deployed HP Integrity servers include: Banksys (Belgium), Denizbank (Turkey) and ING Mexico.

First Trust Corporation, one of the nation's largest independent trust companies for self-directed retirement plans, has deployed a cluster of Itanium 2-based HP Integrity rx2600 servers to deliver state-of-the-art equity and mutual fund transactions. The server cluster, running the Linux operating system, has optimized performance by executing a 99.99 percent uptime and a threefold performance improvement over the previous IBM AIX RISC-based transactions.
CitiStreet, one of the leading global benefit providers and the nation's second largest retirement plan recordkeeper, has migrated to an HP Integrity Superdome server running HP-UX 11i.
Raymond James, one of the largest financial services firms in the United States with more than 5,000 financial advisors, has migrated to an HP Integrity Superdome server running Microsoft(r) Windows(r) Server 2003 Datacenter Edition and Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Edition.
Banksys, the company that created the Belgian debit card system, has deployed an HP Integrity Superdome system to ensure the most optimized platform to perform their financial services applications, which total more than 25 million transactions per month.
Due to the ever-changing nature of business, the HP Integrity platform offers a dynamic and adaptive choice for forward-looking companies.

The Intel Itanium 2 processor set allows companies to use industry-standard software, solutions and components, which provide increased performance and help drive down costs.
All of the top HP applications software solution partners and leaders in the software industry have committed major application suites to the HP Integrity server line and are already porting applications. Today, there are more than 1,000 applications available for HP-UX, Linux and Microsoft Windows Server 2003. In addition, hundreds of OpenVMS applications are expected by mid-2004.
