Critical Path Delivers Anti-Virus Solution Powered by Symantec

Critical Path Anti-Virus is comprised of Symantec AntiVirus™ Scan Engine which has been integrated into the Critical Path Communications Platform, enabling telecommunications operators to offer advanced services for protecting subscribers' email, mobile email and MMS messages. The anti-virus software runs in the carrier's network without requiring software to be installed on any subscriber's desktop, laptop, mobile device, or web browser. It provides subscribers with 24x7 protection no matter how they access the messaging services, automatically detecting and removing viruses to prevent them from reaching and infecting subscribers' devices. Critical Path's Communications Platform and Symantec's anti-virus technology are specially optimized to work together and deliver high scalability, performance and reliability. This reduces the need for extraneous hardware, cutting both upfront capital expenses and ongoing operational costs.
