Royal KPN Awards Major Field Service Management Contract to Mansystems and Wishbone Systems

Englewood Cliffs, NJ – September 23, 2003 – Wishbone Systems, a leading field service management and optimization software provider, announced today the decision by The Netherlands telecommunications giant Royal KPN to implement the Wishbone ServiceSuite. 

KPN, a leading telecommunications company that offers a wide range of high-quality, innovative services for consumer and business customers, has selected the Wishbone ServiceSuite to provide optimized service technician scheduling and dispatch, as well as enhanced mobile communication with its field service technicians, throughout all of KPN’s multi-national service area.  KPN’s field service organization supports several million customers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.  KPN is the leader in all major segments of the Dutch telecommunications market and is also a major mobile operator in Germany via E-Plus and Belgium via BASE.  The KPN implementation follows the Wishbone ServiceSuite implementation at Deutsche Telekom, the largest telecommunications company in Germany.

Mansystems will be leading the implementation of the ServiceSuite at KPN.
