Almere, 8 september 2003 - Bell Microproducts, Europa's toonaangevende distributeur van storage-oplossingen, herstructureert zijn Business Units. Eén van de belangrijkste wijzigingen is de formering van een dedicated HP-team. Deze formering wordt ondersteund met de benoeming van Kees Ruiters als Business Unit Manager en Dick van Veltum als Senior Account Manager HP. Bell Microproducts Solutions heeft daarnaast dedicated sales-medewerkers en Sales Engineers aan het team toegevoegd.
Het HP-team zal zich toeleggen op het versterken van het HP-verkoopkanaal in de storage-markt. Mede door de eindgebruikermarkt te benaderen, wil het HP-team leads genereren voor de HP-resellers. Daarnaast organiseert het team reseller-trainingen en -opleidingen op het gebied van software, hardware en services. Om de verkoop door resellers te stimuleren, biedt het HP-team marketing-, pre-sales- en configuratieondersteuning en zal het demonstraties verzorgen en seminars organiseren.
Business Unit Manager Kees Ruiters: "Dataopslag is een enorme groeimarkt. Dit is dan ook de reden dat Bell Microproducts zich specifiek toelegt op de distributie van storage-oplossingen en de ondersteuning van resellers op dit gebied. Via onze resellers ondersteunen we eindgebruikers met betrouwbare en bewezen opslagproducten van HP bij het verlagen van hun opslagkosten."
