The signing of a partner agreement between PinkRoccade and Seeburger sets the seal on the relationship between the two companies that goes back several years. Seeburger is a software company that targets the European market with products and solutions for the integration of processes in use by business partners, the aim being to create a shared commerce environment. Examples of these products and solutions include virtual marketplaces, portals, e-procurement systems and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
The partner agreement makes PinkRoccade the main supplier of Seeburger solutions and software in the Benelux and the United Kingdom. It also strengthens PinkRoccade's position with respect to several key business themes, such as chain cooperation and application integration.
The first major result of the partner agreement is the implementation of a service that enables clients to process their EDI traffic in a very low-threshold manner in an ASP (Application Service Provider) environment on machines supplied by PinkRoccade. Thanks to the simultaneous launch of a Web-based service, even small suppliers of our clients can be connected to the system. This will facilitate 100% coverage of the EDI system and bring the future of the paperless office closer. The first clients have already been successfully connected to this new service.
The cooperation with Seeburger will enable PinkRoccade to implement the new Netweaver eXchange Infrastructure for the SAP® enterprise version. This is a new communication platform that is largely based on Seeburger software. With this software different business information systems and other (production) systems can be linked to a SAP system in a simple, standardised way. This opens the way for simple chain integration and means that businesses can be interconnected via their information systems. PinkRoccade is one of the first providers to enable its clients to benefit from the latest developments in this area.
PinkRoccade employs approximately 7,800 staff in six sectors. Its services include systems management and renewal, IT management, network services and outsourcing.
