Ultracomp is a Dutch company (Reeuwijk) and a known provider of service management consultancy, training & tooling. Ultracomp recently started ‘Ultracomp Wireless Solutions’. This service provides companies with wireless connectivity between a range of business tools and practically all handheld devices.
Wireless Service Desk is one of the products within this service. It is an service management application specially developed for handheld devices. Using a GPRS, Wireless LAN or other wireless connection you can synchronise necessary information between your handheld device and HP OpenView Service Desk.
Whenever and wherever you are, Wireless Service Desk offers you all the functionality you need to register, accept, modify and close Service Calls, real-time. Wireless Service Desk also gives you the means to keep your configuration management database up to date. Wireless Service Desk even supports a barcode interface that certainly will speed up your configuration management activities in the field.
